Village of Empress

Empress has artisans! The Village is nestled on the banks of the Red Deer and South Saskatchewan Rivers and boasts quaint art shops, dynamic desert vistas and welcoming people.

Village of Cereal

Farming and ranching are the heartbeat of this community. A solid farming heritage bolsters this historic village. Cereal Prairie Pioneer Museum showcases the stories and experiences of the people that have called this area home for over 100 years.

MD of Acadia No.34

Agriculture’s past and present stretch out in this rural municipality. Prairie Elevator Tea House and Museum, located in the hamlet of Acadia Valley offers an “elevating” experience featuring local art, history and refreshments.

Town of Hanna

Hanna is home to one of the few remaining Canadian roundhouses and the best golf deal in Alberta on their 18 hole golf course. This imaginative and interesting small town is truly “Worth the Drive!”

Youngstown is conveniently located on hi-way 9 and is home to Dhamma Karuṇā- Alberta Vipassana Meditation Centre, a Rural retreat devoted to personal wellness.  The village is located near Blood Indian Dam, in Special Area No.3.
