Peter McAra started guiding in the area in 1992 and fell in love with both excellent hunting conditions and landscape of the region. He decided to pursue his dream and built the lodge in 2000. It was originally built solely as a hunting lodge but recent increases in industrial activity has made the lodge ideal for crews working in the area.
Peter McAra is a great host for both crews and hunters alike. With home cooked meals, a large wood burning fireplace, clean rooms and five bathrooms the lodge is an ideal space to meet remote lodging needs in the area.
