Activity # 1- Hanna Pioneer Village

Once you arrive in this little big town, home of Nickelback one might add, you’ll want to head right over the the Hanna Pioneer Village. Here, you’ll feel like you are walking back into the early 1900’s. Hanna first became a town in 1912 and was named after D.B.Hanna, an executive of the railway at the time.

This museum pays homage to the town’s beginnings with a full block of historic buildings awaiting your curious eye. Hundreds of thousands of artifacts are displayed and there is something to grab everyone’s attention.

Activity # 2- Willow Creek Country Gift shop & Bistro

You have spent your day roaming around in the past and the rumblings in your belly are now overpowering your ear drums. Willowcreek Country Gift Shop & Bistro is a fascinating little place within Hanna, that offers you an old-fashion atmosphere and serves up either a hearty meal or some sweets treats to fulfill your hunger. Shop around and find some interesting trinkets or custom made products. The owner provides home cooked meals and fresh baked goods daily. The food’s so good, it may leave you craving more by the end of your trip.

Activity # 3 – The Doll Palace & Tea House

The Doll Palace & Tea House is home to over three thousand dolls. It is filled with dolls from many eras – you’ll find everything from three feet walking dolls to three-inch mini dolls. The oldest doll in the museum is from 1890 called the Minerva Doll. Violetta Link, owner and operator of the Museum says, “a hobby is no fun, if people can’t see it.” Link opened in 1993 and has enjoyed every minute of it. You can see the love she’s put into the hobby as you wander around freely and check out her magnificent collection. If you happen to really like one of the dolls, you can now purchase it or her entire collection. After twenty-three years she will slowly be closing down, so be sure to check out this marvelous collection while you still can.
